Every bundle is cryptographically signed; your OVA verifies the signature before installing and refuses anything else. Database updates are free for the life of the device.
How to update
- Download the latest bundle above on any computer.
- Plug in your OVA with the included USB cable.
- Open http://ova.local (or http://192.168.7.1) in any browser.
- Install — choose the bundle under Updates. The device verifies and applies it, then restarts. Your settings stay put.
